How the Telegram + Altegio integration works
It links the messenger to the online booking platform so that every client message drops into an Altegio client card on its own. Administrators answer Telegram clients from the system without app-switching. Conversations, contacts and dialogue history live in Altegio, and a manager sees the whole team’s work in one window.
ChatApp connects two kinds of Telegram channel to Altegio: a bot (Telegram Bot) and a personal account (Telegram Personal). So you can cover both bot enquiries and direct chats on a staff member’s personal number.
- All chats in the client card
- Bot and personal account
- History stored in Altegio

Link ChatApp with Altegio
Open Altegio → the “Apps” section → find ChatApp → click “Connect”. Access to the apps section is available to the Altegio account administrator.
Set up client card creation
Define how new incoming messages are distributed and which staff members handle them. You can set rules: by queue, by load or by source.
Start talking to clients
Incoming Telegram messages open a client card in Altegio automatically, administrators reply from one window, and the history stays in the system.
What administrators can do in Telegram through Altegio
Reach out first
An administrator can write to a client in Telegram from the client card even before the client writes in. Both phone number and @username work.
See only their own chats
Each administrator sees only the clients they own; a manager sees the whole team. Chats don’t get mixed up or lost.
Send files, voice notes and media
All Telegram attachment types are supported: documents, images, video, audio, voice notes, stickers and emoji. Files are saved in the Altegio client card.
Use reply templates
The administrator picks a ready template for a common question — greeting, price list, address, appointment confirmation. This cuts first-response time and keeps a consistent style.
Work from the mobile app
ChatApp works in the mobile app — the administrator replies to clients from a phone. Conversations sync between the mobile and desktop versions.
Keep dialogues when someone leaves
When a person leaves, their chats stay in Altegio and move to another administrator. Nothing sits on a personal phone — the base belongs to the company.
What owners and managers get out of it
Full control over conversations
All the team’s dialogues in one window. The manager sees who replies fast, who has unread messages piling up, who misses requests. Access is configured at the role level.
Analytics on dialogues and appointments
Reports on the number of dialogues, first-response time, administrator load. Data is linked to Altegio appointments — you can see how many Telegram enquiries turned into bookings and repeat visits.
The client base stays with the company
Client contacts are stored in Altegio, not in staff members’ personal phones. When an employee leaves, conversations and contacts don’t go with them — the company doesn’t lose touch with clients.
Data kept securely
Client data sits on secure servers, the connection runs over TLS, and the dashboard is behind two-factor authentication.

Fitness, studios and schools
Booking for training and classes in personal Telegram (Personal) or through a bot. All correspondence is mirrored in Altegio, available to the manager and stored in the company base.
Auto services and detailing
Clients book a service through a corporate Telegram bot. Requests automatically create a client card in Altegio, are distributed among specialists and closed by appointment.
Independent specialists
A specialist books clients through personal Telegram, and the bot answers common questions and books available times. The client base and history stay in Altegio, not in a personal phone.
Is connecting Telegram to Altegio safe
Data kept securely
ChatApp servers are secure, each company’s data is kept separate, and dashboard access is limited by role. The client base stays with your company.
Connection protection
The link between ChatApp, Altegio and Telegram runs over encrypted TLS 1.2+ channels. Access to the ChatApp dashboard is protected by two-factor authentication.
Telegram account ban risks
When connecting via Telegram Bot, a ban is impossible — it’s an official Telegram mechanism. When connecting via Telegram Personal there is a theoretical risk of a temporary ban for suspicious activity — a feature of the messenger, not ChatApp. To rule out risks, ChatApp limits the rate of first messages and warns about broadcast limits.
How ChatApp differs from “grey” solutions
Some services use unofficial connection methods, which increases the risk of bans and complaints from Telegram. ChatApp works through official APIs: the Telegram Bot API (for bots) and the MTProto protocol (for Personal — with QR-code authorization, like in Telegram Desktop).
Telegram Bot or Telegram Personal for Altegio
ChatApp handles both. Pick the one that matches how you work.
Telegram Bot
- What it is: a corporate bot via @BotFather
- Client messages first: via a link or button in the bot
- Staff messages first: no (only after the client messages the bot)
- Ban risk: none (official API)
- Mass broadcasts: only to bot subscribers
- Best for: booking via the website, support, handling enquiries
Telegram Personal
- What it is: a specialist’s or company’s personal account
- Client messages first: to the staff member’s phone number
- Staff messages first: yes — by number or @username
- Ban risk: low when limits are respected
- Mass broadcasts: not recommended — blocked as spam
- Best for: independent specialists, personal client communication
ChatApp lets you connect any number of channels of both kinds on one plan. A common mix: a bot for website requests, Personal for staying in touch with existing clients.

Telegram + Altegio: common questions
The cost of connecting Telegram to Altegio via ChatApp depends on the number of Telegram channels, the number of dialogues and connected users. The first 3 days are free for a full test of all features. A detailed plan table is in the block above.
Connecting a Telegram channel to Altegio through ChatApp takes 5–10 minutes: you create a ChatApp account, connect Telegram (a bot token, or a QR code for Personal) and add ChatApp in the Altegio “Apps” section. Fine-tuning chat routing and booking rules adds another 20–40 minutes.
Yes, ChatApp supports connecting an unlimited number of Telegram channels (bot and Personal) to one Altegio account. Each channel is configured separately: you can set the responsible employee, branch and chat distribution rules. The number of channels within a plan and the terms for buying extra channels are listed in the plan table.
Yes. ChatApp works through official Telegram interfaces: the Bot API (for bots) and the MTProto protocol (for Personal accounts). Client data is stored on secure servers, the connection is encrypted with the TLS protocol, and the client base stays with your company.
Yes. The ChatApp bot works as an administrator’s assistant: it offers the client free slots, services and specialists and creates the appointment in Altegio without staff involvement. The bot also sends visit reminders, confirmations and requests a review after the visit.
ChatApp connects both types of Telegram channel to Altegio — a bot and a personal account (Personal), supports multiple numbers in one dashboard, reply templates, transfer of files of any format and a single conversation window across all messengers. It’s a full workspace for the team, not just receiving enquiries through a bot.
All client dialogues are stored in Altegio and the ChatApp dashboard — on company servers, not in a staff member’s personal phone. After someone leaves, the administrator reassigns their cards and channels to a new owner. The conversation history stays in the client cards in full, and the new employee sees the entire context.
Yes. The ChatApp bot answers common questions, collects client data, books a service and hands the dialogue to an administrator at the right moment. Reply templates and quick commands for staff are also supported.
Via a Telegram bot, broadcasts are available only to bot subscribers (those who have messaged it at least once). Via Telegram Personal, mass broadcasts are not recommended — the messenger blocks such activity as spam. For marketing broadcasts it’s better to use a Telegram + WhatsApp Business API combination, where WhatsApp handles the template broadcasts.
All correspondence is stored in Altegio on the platform side and remains available even after ChatApp is disconnected — client cards and contacts don’t disappear. Access to the ChatApp dashboard is then blocked, and new Telegram messages stop syncing.
